From lessons, trail riding, boarding, training and leasing to life coaching and equine assisted learning, we’ve got your horse fix covered! Now is a great time to schedule lessons! Trail rides have started to wind down for the season and our calendar is opening up. Our lessons are generally on Wednesdays and Sundays, but we do try to accommodate. Other days of the week become available during the winter slow down. We offer lessons for all ages and a large indoor arena to stay out of the elements. We teach primarily western riding and horsemanship with a focus on how horses think and how to be your horse’s leader. Trail rides during the colder months require a little extra clothing and a watchful eye on the weather, but riding in the snow is so fun! But get in touch with us to get on our wait list. We have a few Michigan Tech University students as clients and they are always coming and going. Openings happen throughout the year. Leasing is another way to spend time with horse. If you used to have horses, but don’t have the budget or place to keep one, we offer horses for “rent” or lease. We lease by the month or by the hour. We still do some horse training as well, but would prefer to work with the owner and horse together. Our instructor has years of experience and can help you and your horse conquer road blocks in your relationship. Most often it’s small changes that bring results. Having a set of educated eyes observing your interactions can bring to light issues that you may not be aware of. Maybe the shorter days and holidays have got you stressed? We offer life coaching and life skills training. Horses are so good at teaching us to be present, have clear boundaries, mean what we say, among many other abilities that are necessary for a successful relationship with them.
